Application of HKM Mineral insulated Heat Cool Combination

Heat Cool Combinations are mainly used in extrusion. Also in injection moulding, particularly with the use of PVC or similar materials. We offer various Heat Cool Combinations types: HKZ (with mica insulated Band Heaters of the type Z - with operating temperatures of 280°C max); HKK (with ceramic insulated Band Heaters of the type KHK - with operating temperatures of 400°C max); HKM (with mineral insulated Band Heaters of the type M - with operating temperatures of 450°C max). Heat Cool Combinations heat the extrusion barrel to the required temperature and balance the heat loss due to radiation. The heat surplus (friction heat) originating from the process is removed by the blower. This maintains constant melt flow characteristics.
