Connection fittings and fixed leads in connection boxs connect the heating elements with the power cable. Together with the heater, they form one unit. There are various systems for connecting the leads: KA clamp connection (cable fitting), KO plug connection (contact fitting) and direct connection through the connection box.

Most connection fitting casings have ventilation slots which allow the passage of air at a minimum of two places. When compared to an enclosed casing, the internal temperature is considerably lower. This increases the life time of the connections and of the leads.

Also available are cables for the connection of the heaters.
